Why Daily Practice Matters
Yoga is not about flexibility alone — it is about a calm, energetic and balanced system. Even 20 minutes a day improves posture, circulation, digestion and sleep. The secret is consistency, not intensity.
Three Asanas to Begin With
Start with Tadasana (Mountain Pose) to improve posture and body awareness. Add Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) to open the chest and strengthen the spine. Finish with Shavasana (Corpse Pose) for deep relaxation. These three cover strength, flexibility and recovery.
The Power of Pranayama
Breathing is the fastest way to switch the body from stress to rest. Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) balances the nervous system, Kapalbhati energises and cleanses, and Bhramari (humming bee breath) instantly calms the mind. Ten minutes of pranayama equals the refreshment of a long nap.
Making It a Habit
Fix a time — early morning is best, but any consistent slot works. Lay out your mat the night before, start with ten minutes and let the routine grow. A few minutes of daily practice, done correctly and consistently, is better than an occasional long session.
